“What can I say? This was the R&R that was much needed - secluded, sophisticated and sleek! Domo Nosaro is located on the Pacific side of Costa Rica, about 90 mins south of Tamarindo. The roads are lush with foliage - and the small stretch leading up to Domo is rough terrain, it is only for about 3 mins - and once you have reached the lodge, you will be well rewarded with its sheet beauty. “We were greeted by Holger, the owner. A very pleasant man. The “lobby” is a beautiful atrium filled with all types of palm trees, banana trees, mango trees, all edible for the guests. The hotel was more like a boutique hotel, because of its charm and small size. The atrium has a nice small pool for relaxing. There is drinking water and coffee complimentary for guests and dinnerware for use at all times.”

“My family and I stayed in room 7 at Nosara Beach Hotel and the room was clean and nicely decorated, with incredible views of the jungle and the ocean from the balcony. The hotel staff is so kind, welcoming and helpful and if you don’t speak Spanish everyone there is bilingual and speaks excellent English. The grounds were beautiful and well kept, pool was exceptionally clean and so relaxing. We ate breakfast there daily, which was included, and it was all so delicious and the coffee was great.……

We were the only ones staying on the property for the majority of our stay. In the high season they have a guard station and a restaurant. In the low season they are not fully staffed. “The Sunset Shack was fantastic for our family trip to Nosara. The beach is super close, and the town is very cute. We were right in the middle of it all. Monkeys in the mango trees on the property in the morning, and iguanas roaming all day. The food, the staff, and the hotel itself were all 5 stars!
